On Saturday 20th October the Royal Ontario Museum, together with the AIA-Toronto Society, organized a day of events to celebrate National Archaeology Day.
On October 18th, Professor Katherine Schwab of Fairfield University’s Art History Department gave a lecture to over 60 at the Bruce Museum of Greenwich, Connecticut.
The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, in conjunction with the Northeast Region of the Florida Public Archaeology Network, celebrated National Archaeology Day with an event held at the Environmental Education Center.
As part of National Archaeology Day, the Stanford AIA Society hosted a series of lecture tours of the Stanford Museum Collections.
The University of West Florida (UWF) Anthropology Department and student members of the Graduate Anthropology Association (GAA) celebrated National Archaeology Day by introducing students, faculty, and staff of the UWF campus to archaeology.
