The Museum of Science, Boston, will partner with the AIA on National Archaeology Day and will once again host the 6th Annual AIA-MOS Archaeology Fair this October 19-20.
The Fort Daniel Foundation will hold their 4th Annual Frontier Faire at the site of the Fort Daniel frontier and 1812 war fort in Hog Mountain, Georgia this October.
In the afternoon on October 20, 2012 the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology will hold a National Archaeology Day celebration exploring the Museum with interactive dig sites, scavenger hunts, movies, games and talks.
The Louisiana Division of Archaeology will list all of the Louisiana Archaeology Month events on the National Archaeology Day Calendar.
The Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park and Historic Brownsville Museum will host the 6th Annual Rio Grande Delta International Archeology Fair on October 13, 2012.
Volunteers are needed to monitor the translations of the International Archaeology Day webpage.
After two years of great success, National Archaeology Day will change to International Archaeology Day for 2013.
The Friends of the Office of State Archaeology in Connecticut acted as a participating partner in National Archaeology Day by sponsoring an Archaeology Fair.
