South Dakota’s Journey Museum celebrated their inaugural Earth Science Day on October 13 in honor of National Archaeology Day.
On October 6, State Archaeologist Dr. Dean Anderson hosted Michigan Archaeology Day at the Michigan Historical Center.
On October 13 archaeological enthusiasts got the chance to “Explore Philly's Buried Past” with the Philadelphia Archaeological Forum and the Independence National Historical Park Archeology Lab.
Our two-day Archaeology Fair at the Museum of Science allowed thousands of Boston-area residents to experience the wonder of archaeological discovery.
Over 1,000 visitors came to Cahokia Mounds museum to participate in hands-on learning, plus attend two lectures given by local experts.

We are so excited to be celebrating International Archaeology Day again this year on October 18, 2014 to raise awareness for archaeology and provide opportunities for the public to participate in archaeological activities.
