The Pre-Columbian Society of Washington, D.C. has joined as a Collaborating Organization for National Archaeology Day.
On October 5, Oregon school children and adults visiting Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne, Oregon, will learn about over 14,000 years of Oregon prehistory through the Traveling Museum of Oregon Prehistory.
The Program in Cultural Heritage Preservation Studies (CHAPS) at Rutgers University has joined as a Collaborating Organization for National Archaeology Day and will hold an international conference October 12-14, 2012.
On October 7, 2012 Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Tumacacori National Historical Park will collaborate to provide special tours of two unique archaeological sites.
Roxborough State Park is a National Archaeological District located in Roxborough, Colorado.
