'Linguistic Preservation: Perspectives and Interpretation'

This lecture will examine the preservation of endangered language and culture from the psychological perspective; considering regional influences and historical interpretation.

Some of the topics that will be addressed:

• What are the proven methods for preservation of an endangered language?
• Is there variability of constructs between cultures-how does one identify what is to be preserved?
