Moundville: Mounds and Mississippians A View from the Top – Stationed atop of Alabama’s tallest mound (Mound B), Dr. Bill Bomar (Director, Moundville Archaeological Park), discusses the Moundville site and the politics and powers of the Mississippian Indian societies. He explains the current theories on the meaning of the famous Rattlesnake Disk. Coloring sheets of the disk are on hand for kids to take home with them.
