Jonathan Moore, Parks Canada, reports on two ships that capsized on August 8, 1813 which now form a National Historic Site managed by the city of Hamilton and Parks Canada.. The history of the Hamilton and Scourge and the multi-faceted archaeological survey of these two fascinating shipwrecks over a three year period highlights the important work of the Underwater Archaeology Service of Parks Canada. Please note the early lecture time!
