A presentation on the 4th millennium B.C.E. Shengavit archaeologica site will be presented by Mr. Vladimir Tshagharyan, director of Armenia's Shengavit Historical and Archaeological Culture Preserve. Joining Mr. Tshagharyan will be Dr. Mitchell Rothman, archaeologist and head of the anthropology department at Widener University in PA who excavated at the Shengavit site. Also particiating will be Dr. Susan Pattie, anthropologist and director of the Armenian Library and Museum of America (ALMA) in Watertown Square, MA. Admission is free, refreshments will be served. This event is a part of the Cambridge Science Festival and is sponsored by ALMA, the National Association of Armenian Studies and Research in Belmont, MA and CYSCA.
