To be held in conjunction with the Twenty-Ninth Annual San Angelo Ceramic Symposium, April 10-13, 2014

We welcome proposals from faculty, independent scholars and advanced graduate students whose research focuses on the ceramic arts.  Paper topics that address the theme, “Myth and the Ceramic Arts,” particularly submissions that take an interdisciplinary approach to material/visual culture, are welcome.  Please send an abstract of no more than 300 words for 15-20 minute papers with your name, title, institutional affiliation (if applicable) together with a short CV to the conference organizer, Dr. Kimberly S. Busby, kimberly.busby@angelo.edu by Wednesday, December 11, 2013.  Our keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Jean MacIntosh Turfa, Research Associate in the Mediterranean section, University of Pennsylvania Museum.
