An epic day of archaeological events! Activities take place among the world-famous collections of North American, Maya, and Ancient Near Eastern archaeology held by the Peabody and Semitic museums.

Immerse yourself in a 3D view of the Giza Pyramids with virtual reality headsets. Move mountains with an augmented reality sandbox. Dig into an active archaeological excavation in Harvard Yard. Peer behind hidden museum spaces. Participate in pottery building demonstrations from the Harvard ceramics program. Listen to tales from field archaeologists who excavated in Turkey, China, Honduras, Peru, Israel, and more! There will be a food truck on site for those who work up an appetite from all the hands-on activities. Visit www.hmsc.harvard.edu for details.
