Please join us and learn about the history and culture of the panhandle region and its role in the Civil War. Family-friendly activities will include Civil War-era games, net casting, flint knapping, Civil War Living History, and talks by local historians and archaeologists. And there will be cannons! This event is part of the National Park Service's commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, a defining event in our nation's history and its legacy in the continuing fight for civil rights.
