From 9am-12pm, the archaeologists at the University of Oklahoma Anthropology Department will host open labs, during which visitors are invited to tour the labs and talk with students and faculty about their research.  At 8:00am, there will coffee and maps waiting for visitors in Dale Hall Tower.

The tour will include:

Dr. Pitblado's lab: Paleoindian archaeology (13,000-10,000 years ago), Rocky Mountain archaeology

Dr. Randall's lab: Archaic archaeology (10,000-3,000 years ago), Southeastern archaeology

Dr. Livingood's lab: Mississippian archaeology, Spiro Mounds

A presentation given by Open Range Archaeology's Ryan Bowman will begin at 11:30 in either Dall Hall or at the Oklahoma Archaeology Survey.
