Symposium to Celebrate Gertrude Howland's Centennial: One Hundred Years in Archaeology
Speakers: Dr. John Camp of Randolph Macon College, the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, and Director of the Agora excavations, on "Women of the Agora"; Dr. Pamela Gaber of Lycoming College, Director of Lycoming College's Expedition to Idalion on "The History of History: Excavation at Idalion and the Changing History of a City Kingdom"; Dr. Stephen Dyson, Park Professor of Classics at the University of Buffalo on "Digging the Roman Countyside: Villas, Farms and Places of Pleasure".
