Opens July 18. Featuring
Learn about the exhibit from one of its curators (Luella Doss, Norma Klimpke, Barbara Gross and Richard Gonzalez). Curator Talks are free with general admission, offered at 2 p.m. on the following dates:
July 29, August 11, September 16, October 12
An Exhibit Open House and Artists’ Reception will be held Sunday, July 29, from noon to 3 p.m. It is open to the public and free with general admission.
In addition, the WMQFA is offering several classes, workshops and lectures that support this exhibit. Two key events are:
A Symposium, The Native American Experience
August 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
and
Family Fun Day featuring Native American Crafts and
Participatory Drumming and Dancing
with the Blue Winds Dance Ensemble
Saturday, September 15, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
