Arizona State University’s Center for Digital Antiquity and the ASU Libraries offer a Council for Library and Information Resources (CLIR) Postdoctoral Fellowship for an archaeologist or other expert in a closely related field. The appointment combines direct experience curating digital archaeological data with an opportunity to conduct individual or collaborative research on topics related to digital archaeological curation and/or the use/reuse of digital archaeological data. This two-year appointment provides an annual salary of $60,000, plus benefits and some yearly travel and research stipends. The fellow will contribute to the development and expansion of the Digital Archaeological Record (tDAR), an international repository of digital data, documents, images, and other kinds of digital files from archaeological investigations, and will have the opportunity to publish and present on scholarly research relating to tDAR.
