Catalhoyuk Research Project

We are looking for a database administrator to perform the migration of a MS SQL database from version 2000 to 2008 for a high-profile archaeological research project. This includes the rewrite of Data Transformation Service routines as SQL Server Integration Services and the reintegration and testing of the backend to work with the webserver (IIS). Ideally the candidate would have a background in RDBMS, database administration and database management as well extensive Microsoft SQL Server experience. Preference will be given to those located in the San Francisco Bay Area although candidates working remotey will also be considered. This is a temporary position for which the completion of the work will be paid $17,000 USD.
