Description: Will assume various curatorial and administrative responsibilities for one of the leading collections of Classical art. Duties and responsibilities will include: collection research and refinement of records in the MFA’s collections-management database, educational outreach and visitor queries, assisting with gallery reinstallations, loan requests, exhibition planning, and other departmental duties upon request. Will report to the Behrakis Senior Curator of Greek and Roman art. Qualifications: Candidates should have a demonstrated record of scholarship, museum experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and writing skills, computer fluency, a willingness to work collaboratively, and an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. M.A. in Art History or Classical Archaeology required, Ph.D. strongly preferred. Reading competence in German and French. Specialization in Greek art welcome.
