Luther College invites applications for a Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor of Classics, a one-year position beginning Fall 2011.
Ph.D. preferred at time of appointment; qualified ABDs will be considered (Instructor rank). All fields of Classics will be considered; applicants with a specialization in Classical Archaeology are especially welcomed.
The successful candidate should be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in Greek and Latin, as well as classical civilization classes. Responsibilities will include teaching in Paideia, our interdisciplinary program with a common syllabus required of all first-year students.
