The Louis Berger Group, Inc. solicits applications for the position of Archaeologist in our Washington, D.C. office. We are looking for a dedicated, self‑motivated individual wishing to pursue quality archaeological research in a cultural resource management context.
Applicants must have a M.A. in Anthropology/Archaeology with experience in Mid-Atlantic archaeology. A minimum of three years archaeological experience in directing archaeological surveys, evaluations, and data recovery projects in the context of Section 106/110 compliance is required. Desirable skills and experience include GIS, OSHA training, pedology/geoarchaeology, and technical writing (CRM reports and associated documentation). The preferred candidate will have working familiarity with federal and state laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines governing cultural resources. Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to meet budget and schedule requirements.
