AIA Lecturer: Larissa Bonfante

Larissa Bonfante is with the Department of Classics at of New York University, and holds her degrees from Barnard College (B.A.), the University of Cincinnati (M.A.), and Columbia University (Ph.D.). Her research interests include Roman and Etruscan archaeology and ancient dress. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the AIA’s Gold Medal (2007) and Norton Lecturership (2007/2008), has published extensively, and organized several conferences including Etruscan Myth: Images and Translations in 2009.
