Leslie Preston Day

Leslie Preston Day is with the Department of Classics at Wabash College, and holds her degrees from Bryn Mawr (A.B.) and the University of Cincinnati (M.A. and Ph.D.).  Her areas of specialization are Aegean Bronze Age archaeology, and Dark Age Crete.  She has done extensive fieldwork in Crete, where she was Co-Director at Kavousi and Vronda.  She has several books in progress, including three on Kavousi (with collaborators) and one on The Pottery from Karphi: A Reappraisal.  Professor Day has received various honors and awards for her work, and is a past recipient of the AIA Pomerance Fellowship.
