The North Carolina Maritime Museum to Celebrate with Queen Anne's Revenge Community Day
October 4, 2012
As part of the National Archaeology Day festivities, the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort will be hosting a multitude of events and activities focusing on the state's costal history and underwater archaeology happening in the area. Site archaeologists and museum staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the most recent dive season. Queen Anne's Revenge Community Day will take place on both Friday October 19th and Saturday October 20th at the museum.
As preparations for International Archaeology Day pick up speed, more groups sign on daily. Today, four new groups joined the cause.
The Society for California Archaeology has signed on as a collaborating organization for International Archaeology Day.
2013's International Archaeology Day sees the return of many collaborating organizations from years past!
