Exploring Philly's Buried Past

On October 13 archaeological enthusiasts got the chance to “Explore Philly's Buried Past” with the Philadelphia Archaeological Forum and the Independence National Historical Park Archeology Lab. This event, also part of Pennsylvania Archaeology Month, was held at the Kirby Auditorium in the National Constitution Center. Visitors were able to attend talks about the latest local archaeological findings.
The Bayon Information Center in Siem Reap, Cambodia has joined as a new Collaborating Organization for International Archaeology Day 2013.
The Legacy: Hands on the Past, Center for Archaeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio and Frank H. McClung Museum at the University of Tennessee Knoxville have returned for International Archaeology Day 2013.
This week, the AIA has paired with two new organizations to promote International Archaeology Day 2013.
