A Very Big Welcome to our New Collaborating Organization in Cambodia!

The Bayon Information Center in Siem Reap, Cambodia has joined as a new Collaborating Organization for International Archaeology Day 2013. The Organization plans on creating presentations for local children and visitors at Angkor Thom in the Angkor Archaeological World Heritage Site. These presentations and other initiatives will be conducted in Khmer, Japanese, and English. Please check the International Archaeology Day Event listings for more information. We are very excited that International Archaeology Day will be celebrated this far across the globe!
University of Alaska Anchorage hosted International Archaeology Day on October 19th.
The Northeast Region of the Florida Public Archaeology Network hosted an Archaeology Bar Crawl through downtown St. Augustine in honor of International Archaeology Day.
The Commission to Preserve National Monuments celebrated the International Archaeology Day with a series of events titled "Cultural Memory, a Vanishing Treasure: Archaeological Heritage of BiH."
