More Than 150 Organizations Now Involved

Over 150 archaeological, historical, and cultural organizations are now a part of International Archaeology Day!
Fort Stanwix National Monument, in New York, will be hosting a family event featuring activities, demonstrations, and presentations from a professional archaeologist. They are also offering scheduled tours of the archaeological collection at Fort Stanwix National Monument.
Reflections of Manatee, in Florida, will be dedicating a historic walkway which celebrates the history of Manatee Mineral Spring. The dedication will feature archaeology, living history, and historic music, food, and games.
University of Alaska Anchorage hosted International Archaeology Day on October 19th.
The Northeast Region of the Florida Public Archaeology Network hosted an Archaeology Bar Crawl through downtown St. Augustine in honor of International Archaeology Day.
The Commission to Preserve National Monuments celebrated the International Archaeology Day with a series of events titled "Cultural Memory, a Vanishing Treasure: Archaeological Heritage of BiH."
