International Archaeology Day at the Royal Ontario Museum!
December 9, 2013
International Archaeology Day at the ROM gave museum visitors the chance to explore archaeology around the world through hands-on activities, crafts, ancient objects, and more! Experts from the ROM and other organizations shared how archaeologists excavate, the kinds of artifacts they discover, and how they study them in the lab. Visitors learned about ongoing research projects, and even go to play-test brand-new video games created at the ROM that bring the ancient world to life.
Project Archaeology at the Beaverhead Museum hosted a teacher/student Archaeology Day for the region.
