Maya Research Program to Promote National Archaeology Day
March 29, 2012
The Maya Research Program will join the group of Collaborating Organizations promoting National Archaeology Day 2012! The Maya Research Program, headquartered in Tyler, Texas, will promote National Archaeology Day via social media (including website, facebook, twitter, and an e-newsletter) and Maya Research Program staff will promote National Archaeology Day at their universities. The Maya Resarch Program reaches a community of over 6,000 active members.
As preparations for International Archaeology Day pick up speed, more groups sign on daily. Today, four new groups joined the cause.
The Society for California Archaeology has signed on as a collaborating organization for International Archaeology Day.
2013's International Archaeology Day sees the return of many collaborating organizations from years past!
