Pilgrim Hall Museum to Display Standish Collection Saturdays in October
May 5, 2012
During October, the month of National Archaeology Day, Pilgrim Hall Museum will display its Myles Standish Archaeology collection every Saturday from 10am to 4pm. The collection is from the 1856 excavation of the Standish home site in Duxbury, Massachusetts. This will be the first time since the 1860s that the entire Standish archaeological collection has been brought together for public display.
The Society for California Archaeology has signed on as a collaborating organization for International Archaeology Day.
2013's International Archaeology Day sees the return of many collaborating organizations from years past!
Volunteers are needed to monitor the translations of the International Archaeology Day webpage.
