University of Miami to Hold Conference for National Archaeology Day

The University of Miami signed on as the 40th Collaborating Organization for National Archaeology Day. The University of Miami will hold a day long conference of presentations by archaeologists affiliated with the University of Miami. The conference will be held at the Lowe Art Museum and will be open to the university community as well as the general public.
As preparations for International Archaeology Day pick up speed, more groups sign on daily. Today, four new groups joined the cause.
The Society for California Archaeology has signed on as a collaborating organization for International Archaeology Day.
