100 Days Until National Archaeology Day!

With 100 days until National Archaeology Day (October 20), over 50 organizations have already committed to hosting events and promoting the day and the discipline. Archaeologists and archaeology enthusiasts around the world are currently busy planning events for the month of October that celebrate all aspects of archaeology.

The Bayon Information Center in Siem Reap, Cambodia has joined as a new Collaborating Organization for International Archaeology Day 2013.

The Legacy: Hands on the Past, Center for Archaeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio and Frank H. McClung Museum at the University of Tennessee Knoxville have returned for International Archaeology Day 2013.

This week, the AIA has paired with two new organizations to promote International Archaeology Day 2013.
