Friends of the Office of State Archaeology in Connecticut to Hold Archaeology Fair

The Friends of the Office of State Archaeology will participate in National Archaeology Day 2012 as a Collaborating Organization. On Saturday, October 27, they plan to hold an Archaeology Fair from 10am-3pm at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. University of Alaska Anchorage hosted International Archaeology Day on October 19th.
The Northeast Region of the Florida Public Archaeology Network hosted an Archaeology Bar Crawl through downtown St. Augustine in honor of International Archaeology Day.
The Commission to Preserve National Monuments celebrated the International Archaeology Day with a series of events titled "Cultural Memory, a Vanishing Treasure: Archaeological Heritage of BiH."
