The lecture is free, but a ticket is required.  These can be obtained online at www.getty.edu or by calling Getty Visitor Services at 310-440-7300.  Tickets are available beginning Monday, August 29. 

The Getty Villa is located at 17985 Pacific Coast Hwy, approximately 1 mile north of Sunset Blvd., in Pacific Palisades.  The front gates open at 6 p.m. for arrivals, and parking is free.  The galleries and Museum Store will be open both before and after the talk.  There is light dinner fare, including beer and wine, available for sale at the Cafe from 6 until 7:30 p.m.  The Auditorium opens for seating at 7 p.m., and seating is open, available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Refreshments will be served following the lecture.
