Explore the art and architecture of the eventful past, as well as the exciting and dynamic present, of this multifaceted region and its varied dramatic landscapes. Highlights include architectural masterpieces of Edinburgh; the Old Towns of Gdansk, Riga, and Tallinn; a daylight transit of the 61-mile-long Kiel Canal; Visby, a World Heritage site, once the trading center of the Hanseatic League; and two days in magnificent St. Petersburg. Our Baltic expedition also includes visits to botanical gardens, the windswept island of Sylt, the charming villages of Bornholm Island, and more.
