One Page Outreach and Education Program Overviews—Submission Guidelines

In advance of the Institute's 2015 Working Conference for Educators: Building a Strong Future for Archaeological Outreach and Education the AIA is soliciting a series of one-page descriptions of existing archaeological outreach and education programs.  We plan to collect, compile, and distribute these in advance of January’s working conference.

Even if you are unable to attend the conference, we hope you will still contribute a one-pager, as this will be a very valuable resource for everyone!

For the one-pager, send us a submission that includes the following sections:

  • Program title
  • Sponsoring organization name
  • Location
  • Audience
  • Participation
  • Duration
  • A contact (please include an e-mail address)
  • A brief description
  • Approximate budget
  • Time commitment
  • Secret to scuccess

As there are many programs, we would like to limit each submission to one formatted page.  The total word count for each submission (not just the description but all sections) should be no longer than a combined 400 words.
