Featured Conference Workshop

Sediments and Soils in Archaeology: Practical Applications

presented by Vaughn Kimball

This workshop is intended to be of benefit to anyone who wants to develop a better understanding of how the geologic context in which archaeological fieldwork is accomplished (i.e. the sediments and soils), can improve and enhance archaeological interpretation.

It may be of interest to students, or also to working professionals, who want to increase and/or refresh and hone their understanding by engaging in learning activities and discussions on the subject. It will include hands-on activities, as well as examples and case studies of practical application in archaeological field work.
