Did you know that Halloween was not always about costumes and trick-or-treating? To turn-of-the-20th century Americans, it was a holiday for love and romance. Come learn about and participate in old-time Halloween traditions and games while touring the Sam Bell Maxey House at night. Admission is $5 per person. Children 5 and under are free. If you attend both “A Bewitching Affair at the Maxey House” and “Maxey by Candlelight” on October 26, admission is only $7.
