Archaeology and Cultural Awareness Day

October 20, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm EDT

Clarke Historical Museum
240 E Street
Eureka, CA 95501 United States

We celebrate National Archaeology Day a little differently at the Clarke Museum, as Humboldt is home to diverse living Native cultures. Local Native community members and HSU archaeology students and instructors participate in this annual event at the Clarke to do outreach in fun, informative, interactive demonstrations for all ages. Basket weaving, flint-knapping, mock-excavations, story-telling, and other activities, arts, and crafts are experienced all day long!

This is a FREE community event for children and adults.

Refreshments will be available for purchase to help fund the event.

When placing events on your calendar using these buttons, please check that time zone displays correctly.
