Join us as we host a day of fun-filled activities highlighting Louisiana’s culture history and the field of archaeology. Participants can throw a spear using an atlatl (an ancient spear thrower), participate in an interactive archaeological dig box, make ceramics and ink using traditional methods, create a site in a jar, and use a pump drill and an ancient mortar and pestle.
