Join in a global celebration of archaeology and the thrill of discovery during International Archaeology Day! NC’s oldest State Historic Site will offer a variety of Hands-on activities showcasing techniques and skills employed by archaeologists throughout the day, including cordage, pottery, and sand art stratigraphy. This program is being offered in conjunction with Ten Days of Uwharrie, the official #NorthCarolinaOutdoorFestival.
