Archaeology of Casco Bay and Yarmouth

October 21, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

Yarmouth History Center
118 East Elm Street
Yarmouth, ME 04096 United States

The story of Native American life just before Europeans arrived was shaped by environmental, cultural, and technological changes beginning with the end of the ice age. Some changes were drastic, yet there is also evidence of continuity across broad spans of time.

Examination of archaeological sites from Yarmouth and Casco Bay help provide an understanding Native American life prior to the arrival of Europeans.

$5 for nonmembers; free for members.
