Discover archaeology at the Fort Laurens Museum. Throughout the day, learn the trade, tools, and discoveries of archaeologists. Hands-on activities will engage students in archaeological practices including a mock dig and metal detecting. Students will also participate in recreating famous archaeological discoveries. This event is open to all public, private, and homeschool students. Cost for this event is $5 a student. One adult per group is free, each additional adult is $7, and all teachers are free. Reservations are required for the event and can be made by calling 330-874-3011. Please register by October 12.
