Artifact Illustration Workshop

October 6, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm EDT

University of Tulsa (room number TBD)
800 S Tucker Street
Tulsa, OK 74104 United States

For our second year of the Archaeological Skills Workshop Series, we are kicking it off with a fun workshop for those who love to draw!

This workshop, taught by instructor Jesse Nowak (MA), will introduce the principles of technical artifact illustration for the novice and veteran alike. No artistic background is required! This course will focus on lithic and ceramic objects, including iconographic rendering, but could be applied to virtually any artifact type. Come learn why a picture does not always tell the story!

The workshop will be taught twice during Oklahoma Archaeology Month, in Norman and Tulsa. Each class will be limited to 20 people.
