Authentic South Texas Native American Artifacts

The Texas Outdoor Education Association State workshop is September 28-30, 2018.  There are several historical presentations.  The presentation “Authentic South Texas Native American Artifacts” will be made by Carlos Guerrero on September 30, 8:30-10am, although he will be available all weekend.  Description: View authentic South Texas, Zapata County, Indian artifacts.  Examine some 300-500 pieces and classify the projectile points as Historic, Prehistoric, Archaic, or Paleo-Indian.  Some pieces date back 9,000 years.  Collected from original Spanish land grant, with evidence that it was an ancient Indian campsite for thousands of years.
