Blackwater Draw National Historic Landmark and Mu Alpha Nu Anthropology Club announce their 18th annual Fall Atlatl Competition on Saturday, October 27 at the site. There’s free admission and all ages are encouraged to participate. Gates open at 9:00 a.m. and competition begins at 10:00 a.m. There will also be a special presentation by Director Dr. Brendon Asher in the Interpretive Center at 1:00 p.m. Snacks and raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
