22.september 2018 – The disappeared landscape
Participants in the local history walks will be acquainted with the surrounding archaeological landscape, which reflects the close management of the Cistercian monastery in Plasy. They will be acquainted with the extinct medieval village of Újezd, the fortress of Šebíkov and more. The event will take place in cooperation with “Diversity in Unity – Cistercian Monastic Landscapes in Central Europe (Project support: BAYERISCHES LANDESAMT FÜR DENKMALPFLEGE)”
27.october 2018 – Journey to the Beginning of Time
The event will take place on the premises of the museum. Participants will be introduced to work with a metal detector, will have the opportunity to try different techniques of cave painting. They will also have the opportunity to throw flour on the handmill and then bake pancakes or try to create a typological series of items. They will further argue for it as an artifact and will assign to it a modern analogic subject.
