Cowlitz-Yakama Trail: History & Archaeology

A presentation by archaeologist Rick McClure who will provide an overview of the history and archaeology of the Cowlitz-Yakama Trail; an important trans-Cascadian travel and trade route that connected Native communities on the Cowlitz River with those to the east of the mountains. The program will summarize recent efforts to identify, document, and assess remaining portions of the historic trail.
