Exploring Ancient Coins

AIA Society: Vancouver

Participants will view the new collection of Byzantine coins generously donated to the Museum of Anthropology by David Herman.  MA student Nicole Inglot, who has curated an exhibit of the coins, will discuss Byzantine coins and the importance of this collection. There will also be a hands-on workshop with the Roman coin collection of Department of Classical, Near Eastern and Religious Studies.

Time: 2-3pm

Location: Borden Room, Laboratory of Archaeology, Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia

*This event is free and open to the public.  Note that attending this event does not require Museum of Anthropology admission, but visiting the Museum before or after the event will require paid admission.
