Galen University’s Anthropology Club will host International Archaeology Day on October 18 so that school kids can participate. We will hold it in the centre of San Ignacio at the Welcome Center park, which is the central hub for the town. We anticipate being able to interact with not only students but community members.
We will have multiple stations for students to visit so they can get hands-on experience and learn something about the importance of archaeology, cultural heritage and the Ancient Maya. A hieroglyphic specialist and his club will also join us.
