On Saturday October 5th, the Archaeological Institute of America – Milwaukee Society will join the Milwaukee Community Archaeology project to celebrate International Archaeology Day from 1-4pm at the Schlitz Audubon Nature CenterCenter. This year’s theme ‘Hands on Archaeology’ will provide an opportunity to learn about archaeological lab methods and try them out! All ages are welcome to participate. There will be stations presenting a variety of archaeological methods ranging from zoological analysis to 3D scanning to cataloging artifacts from local historical sites.
