History Bike Gainesville: Haunted Hogtown III

It’s October! Time for the Third Annual Haunted Hogtown – Halloween themed ride. This ride will take us to several of Gainesville’s and the University of Florida’s infamously spooky spots. While discussing some eerie local myths we will examine how these legends can shape popular lore and whose job it is to set the record straight – or if that’s even necessary.
COME IN COSTUME! COSTUME CONTEST THIS YEAR! Prizes for best “history related” costume and best general costume. It’s fun! It’s Halloween! Don’t let me be the only one dressed up! 
As with all HBG tours, registered riders will get a bracelet for $1 off bee

Meet at First Magnitude Brewing Company (1220 SE Veitch St.) Please RSVP on Facebook if you are planning to attend.

Tour will last about 2 hours and end back at First Magnitude Brewery. Let’s be safe! Helmets and personal water strongly recommended! Parking is limited at the brewery if possible please ride to the location. If it looks like rain, we will cancel and reschedule! 

History Bike Gainesville is a guided bicycle tour in and around Gainesville. We stop at selected historic and prehistoric sites for interpretation and discussion
